If circumstances have changed and you no longer need your Road Test Concierge service or need to reschedule for another date, you can cancel by texting 650-480-3243 or emailing hello@helloskip.com.

Client-Initiated Cancellation/Reschedules:

  • Canceling or rescheduling 48+ hours before pickup time: Cancel and receive a full refund. Reschedule at no additional cost.

  • Canceling or rescheduling 24-48 hours before pickup time: $50 fee

  • If cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of scheduled pickup time: $100 fee

  • If cancelled or rescheduled day of service (after 12:01 am customer local time): Forfeit total cost of service already paid. You will be eligible for a 10% discount to rebook the service.

  • DMV Paperwork Issues: If you are unable to take your road test because you are missing your DMV appointment paperwork or you got the date wrong, you’ll forfeit a refund, but receive 10% off when you re-book. 

  • If the concierge believes you are not ready to test: If, while warming up, you fail to demonstrate safe control of the vehicle and the concierge believes their safety is at risk, the concierge reserves the right to cancel the booking. If this happens, you will forfeit a refund, but receive 10% off when you re-book. 

In the rare occurrence, something happens with your Concierge, for example, their brake light goes out at the last minute, we will reschedule you for free. 

The same is true on the rare occurrence if something happens with the DMV, such as their computer system going down or if the DMV cancels your appointment due to inclement weather/closures, we can reschedule you for free and take again at no extra cost. If you were already picked up by your concierge in these events, this is not eligible for a refund. If you decide to cancel, there will be a cancellation fee applies.  

All cancellations are reviewed by our team to determine if the Customer or the Concierge initiated the cancellation. If an error occurred because of the Concierge, you will not incur any charge for the cancellation, and we’ll be happy to get you set up with another Concierge to help you out!
